From what I have read.. tears at 26psi fronts at 50psi leave between 1500 and 2000 rpm.. leave in drive turn on drag mode and turn off traction control

About 7 to 10 second burn out to heat up the Michelins

Other than that floor it and keep it straight lol anything I'm missing?

Everything seems in order. Hopefully it hooks for ya. Have fun!!! I wouldn't heat up those street tires very much. Just enough to clean them off.

Iā€™ve taken my 2018 to the drag strip once. I couldnā€™t figure out how to make a pass with out massive wheel hop. Wheel hop is equivalent to pounding your driveline with a hammer. Wheel hop will break things.

The best advice I was given was to not stomp the throttle off the line. But, that only fixed the wheel hop at launch. I still had wheel hop during the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.

My advice is to lift off the throttle when the wheels hop. The action is called pedaling the car.

I used drag mode and left traction control on for my first pass. No wheel hop.
I ran 4 times in drag mode and traction control/advance trac off. Wheel hopped any time I went full throttle in 1,2, and 3 gears.

Cheers,

Dissapointed with runs tonight...might put some blame track prep...stock SRTs and new Camaros were running similar times...buddies stock c63 amg spun out on shift from 1st ro 2nd...almost hit the wall...

My car hooks up better on the street then it was at the track

Post up the slips. Prep is what it is. Find a nicer track that doesnt want to watch their patrons crash. No sense in a poorly prepped track.

You could almost run faster in that 60 ft, but good mph at the end

Ehh, don't feel too bad. In 2800DA I did 2.0? 60' and couldn't do better than 8.1 @ 90.?. I have the Pirellis. Had to launch off idle, forget getting on the converter, just blew the tires off. Got some M/T's, gonna solve the 60' problem.
