A stock '08 GT500 has less HP than the GT350, but way more bottom end torque. The GT350 will feel slower off the line than what you're used to.

That said, it's a rocket once you get above 3.5K on the tach, and there is no comparison between the two cars when it comes to handling, feel and agility. The GT350 is a supercar in comparison to the '08 GT500.

I'm sure you're going to love your new car, congrats!

Iā€™d even say this car doesnā€™t really come alive until around 5k. Youā€™re going to love it though because this redline feels never ending.

I sold a 2008 and 2009 GT500 back in 2011 in order to experience a couple of the new generation Boss 302/LS Mustangs and can tell you that I never looked back as the Boss 302/LS's were a much more satisfying driving experience than the GT500 cars and it was not even close.

Then going from the Boss 302/LS cars to a new GT350R the new driving experience was simply hard to believe and just an outstanding leap in performance and handling for the best Pony car in history.

Get ready to be amazed at how much difference there is between a 2008 GT500 and a 2018 GT350R!
