I should have said Beige.

got a quote for leather from a dealership at C$1,200 , maybe less from whoever does the work.
there's also changing the interior so there's a match with top, leather seats and interior.
no idea how much the interior would cost or the top, worth doing ???

I also like blue, but, something between True Blue and the current Deep Impact Blue
a repaint is way too much money to have done. beige top and interior look great tho.

but that car Needs:
- ceramic seats
- 50th anni appearance pack (Chrome trim at those tri bars)
- a light beige (i.e. like ceramic) top

Yes, but since it is a V6 it will get none of those things. But then again the top is only available in black across the board.

but we have to Keep adressing these things (especially the light beige / ceramic top) so they (:ford can get a Feeling, what the customer who is gonna spend the Money is looking for;)

oh, btw:
it is ok, if the v6 does not get those Gimmicks as Long as the v8 is gonna get it

I would bet money that companies such as Robbins will have high quality aftermarket convertible tops available in different colors and materials. Granted these will be expensive and it is a shame Ford did not want to offer a lighter color top; I replaced my 2005 Mustang Convertible's top last year and it was @1300.00 installed. Ford probably has some research that shows them the percentage of cars they sold with lighter tops and opted to save the costs.

I like a dark blue, but a bit lighter than True Blue, too bad it isn't available tho Ford's had a
Lot of blues over the years.

local upholstery dealer quote for new top: $1,950 with heated rear window, installed.

what about a tonneau cover ?
think hooks could be used to secure the cover rather than drilling fasteners into the body.
hooks to frame at rear and sides and maybe air vents at the windscreen.
