Adding a JLU 2018 Rubicon to the team

Not sure how many Jeep guys and Gals are in here but I have been following the new JLU for a while.

If you haven’t seen it Jeep killed it with this refresh. I added some pics for you to :eyebulge: over.

Only thing stopping me from ordering right now is I want the 2.0 turbo motor and want to see the Stingray Grey that is going to be released; killing me that I don’t have rig thing on order yet!

Any other Jeep owners out here?

I'm definitely interested in one of these. I'm waiting for details on the diesel. Hoping they release it in green eventually.

The price of these has gone through the roof... good on you to be able to afford one.

Can be said about all cars unfortunately, just look at the price of a Yukon. Supposedly the price is up $2500 over last years. A jump regardless but I also hold my cars for a few years after they are paid off. So my trade is always my down payment.

Yeah pricing on cars has become insane. That being said the Wrangler holds its value better than almost every car on the road today.

Especially in Dallas! I cant believe how much even a 100k mile 2012/13 goes for. Even beat down jeeps are pricey relative to other options..

Seriously thinking about a '18 Wrangler, like a few folks, just waiting on some additional details. We're probably not a buyer for the Rubicon, our use is a bit more "lite", beach, some mild trails, snow (er, when we travel, hopefully not in Florida )

The one dealer around here had a ADM on all new Wranglers.......

Four-time Wrangler owner here. The '13 Sahara below is my DD and latest, ordered it and absolutely love it.

I'm not ready for an upgrade yet, but definitely interested in taking a look at the JL when they hit the lots. Kind of a drag that they dropped the Sahara trim for the 2-doors, but that just means I'll have to go with a Rubi when the time comes.

(Unless Ford does the right thing and builds a 2-door Bronco.....)

Oh hell, just saw it comes in green! Well looks like I'll be on the hunt for a green diesel.

I would get confused and grab the 4WD selector to shift gears... haha.

I am interested to see how these hold up over time. JKs didn't seem all that impressive to me. I do love the changes to the JL.

JLU came in finally!! Ordered on 12/20 came in last night. Also picked up a lift kit; I've had that for about a week now. This is my wife's rig so only a few mods are allowed (lights, bumpers, lift and wheels). I also picked up a 2015 2 door JK a few weeks back, that is currently under construction


This thing is bad!!! Only 50 miles on it now but I have really enjoyed those 50 miles. The ride is definitively Jeep, but much more refined. Love it!

My fiancé always wanted a jeep so I started doing research on them last summer. Couldn’t believe how pricey they were, even used! Did lots of calling to find the best deals, but they just don’t discount them more than $1,500 anywhere in Cali. Found the best deal @ Dave Smith Motors in Idaho with $6k off msrp and ordered a ‘17 JKU 4wd Winter Edition in Granite exterior with Black interior. Did some little mods like leds, 3rd brake light removal, grill, tint, shorty antena and smoked fender markers. Wanna do a procharger on it, but she said she wants atleast one regular car lol. Don’t have many pics on my phone so disregard the bone stock mustang in the photo hahaha
