Order is officially in! Was sent by my dealer today. Just got done finalizing everything and putting down my $1000 refundable deposit. $39990 OTD for a GT Premium w/PP (using X-plan). That's before any incentives. Dealer said they would reserved the $500 rebate that's going on now in case it ends, so OTD price will be $39490 at worst.

Color is Guard with the Dark Saddle interior. Priority 11 so probably early September would be my guess. :headbang:

Anyone know a salesman / Manager I should use for 2016 x-Plan order?

Going in the next couple of days to place my 2016 order in.

Does anyone have a specific Galpin salesman or Manager I should talk with?

Last time I was there the salesman had no clue and continually put me off that day for an hour to say no can do on the 11th.

New to the forum and to the thread. kindly bear with my question -
I am planning to buy the 2015 Mustang but the dealers in Charlotte NC does not have one like I wanted (2.3 Ecoboost premium, Black ext., Red line int., performance package, voice navigation, that's it) and one dealer says it would take about 6-8 weeks once I place my order.
But looking at this thread I understand that 2016s are ready to roll in few months. So should I order the 2016 instead of 2015 and how much is the wait time for 2016 approximately?

Orders for 2015s are done. You will have to order a 2016. They don't start production until early August, so don't expect delivery until September more than likely.

2016 build starts in early August, so first deliveries should happen in late-August to early-September. If you want a car for the summer then just buy a 2015 from a dealer near you b/c you can't order 2015s anymore. If you can wait out the summer then go with 2016.

2016 GT Performance Guard Metallic

I have been looking at getting a Mustang since at least Spring 2014, but just ordered a 2016 GT with Performance Package in Guard Metallic this week. It should be here around late October.
