Hello. I'm patiently awaiting the arrival of #1,686 WW Auto. I work across the street from Shelby here in Las Vegas. I'm curious if anyone would consider having Shelby supercharge your LE while keeping the exterior and interior untouched.

For now the only thing I have planned is the ARH catback exhaust.

I thought about it but other projects took precedence. I will install myself and have another tuner do tuning if I do later.

I may go over to Shelby today and see how much. Then start saving some coin. Of course their work definitely comes with a premium $$$.

I am curious to know if they would touch the LEs. I know they started offering the 2015 Shelby GT packages for around $40,000, where you can buy the base GT and have them modify the entire car (interior and exterior) and get near of 700 hp.

Only thing that bugs me, but I know it's Shelby, is they keep all the parts they take off.

Went down to Shelby during lunch. They are already doing a WW and a Kona Blue. They still want $40k but will give you back the wheels and faux gas badge from the rear. Interior will be left as is and they will be adding their dash plaque next to the LE plaque. No stripes. I want to see what the WW looks like when they are done.

Yeah hood and trunk as well. I just wanted to keep the exterior and interior the same but they don't want to discount anything and your car is advertising for them so they need to add their brand on the exterior. I'm curious to see what it will look like on the LE. Yeah I most likely would pass.

Nope-- bad topic to get me started on. I love to see folks buy a basic mustang and then get creative and build a great personalized car. I do go nuts when someone buys a rare car of very limited production and then "customizes it...why ruin a unique factory special when you could have the same basic car starting from scratch with a base that you then build out.

These same folks then seem to get "bored' within 18-24 months and dump the car and move on to their car ruination project. I'm just dying to find a perfect (low mileage) 2001 Bullitt. But everyone I find (and low mileage cars are out there) has been f'up along the way with unique (hard to replace) parts long gone and aftermarket crap installed.

I fully get customization and having it "your way' but why on a limited edition car (be it Mustang, Camaro, or Vette). Probably a great study for a "car guy/gal" who needs a thesis topic for a PhD in psychology.

I agree with you on the special edition cars. Those should be left original as much as possible. Only make tasteful modifications similar to this Mustang which I literally just ran into. Tasteful and subtle.

You know the questions I have is this guy a professional who is always in control? Also I'm wondering if this is that special edition model with GTR and F1 components?

Somebody do that poor car a favor, and set it on fire.
