Big photo alert...
Finally, finally after buying in the Black Friday sales I got this fitted - Cervini C Series. Very happy with it. Got Stalker side scoops also but was never sure if I was going to fit them. Having had them painted the finish around the grilles isn't quite as good as it might have been so still undecided. Will evaluate next sunny day. I guess they could always come off again...

...and yes it is dirty.

Thanks. I'd need to grow some balls and fix a little mark that whilst practically unnoticeable, I now know is there... ;)

Finally, I got the Cobra Jet Manifold on and running good, the first install of this I did 3 weeks ago was horrible, the throttle body I had gotten was locked in full bore closed and causing horrible idling. With help of Lund I got a new throttle body and she is purring. Just went out and did my Datalogs for Lund. PMAS Cold Air intake, Twin 60mm throttle body (for now), JLT catch can. SW headers with high flow cats are going on this weekend. Rolling road dyno scheduled for 17th in Bury.

Took it for a service (at the dealers now).... near side rear wheel bearing is shot. Massive amount of play.

Been told that it’s not really safe to drive home

Only got 7,143 Miles on it........

There is a thread from BMR about the nut coming loose from the factory because of the design and procedure used. They said they see that on a lot of cars they work on. It includes tips for reducing the chance they don't get loose again since the factory recommended procedure doesn't.

What did I do to my Mustang today??

I drove it!! For the first time this year!! My God, what a great car and soooo satisfying to drive, but I was back to square one on controlling the judder from a standing start. I need to get my Steeda clutch spring fitted.
Yes first proper drive in her for several months, was really enjoying that she was gripping and not being loose at the rear as has been happening since October! Ive got the Steeda spring fitted and well worth doing

Me and Mac did some one mile racing, Mac had a few issues and I was braking too early but rather safe than sorry as a couple of cars binned it because they tried braking from 190+

Not bad considering it was wet too. :)

My Mustang earned its stripes!
I went for black GT350 style stripes with the white pinstripe design, but with GT500 inspired widths of 10 inches, so I guess that makes my car a GT850..?

details.jpg

Other details include wrapped mirrors, headlight corner tint, dechrome window trim and red reflector tint. The badges weren't really suitable for wrapping, so I'm looking at blacking them out with Plastidip + Glossifier to complete the look.

I'm really loving the new look! I'm so glad I decided to go with stripes over just the black roof that I originally planned.

Absolutely stunning Spoonex! :coolphotos:

FWIW I like the chrome pony as it is - it works well with the white pin stripes, but will look equally good blacked out.

Also - great move on going with wider stripes, the "skinny" stripes look good on the GT350 but wider ones defo suit the standard s550 more IMO

Almost makes we wish I would have gone with race red...Almost.

That is gorgeous! For me gloss black 5.0 and pony badges would finish it perfectly.
The wide stripes are lovely.
