Car has made some big changes over the last week!
The car started with a Paxton 2200sl, 8 rib, 3.47 pulley, 20% OD, wastegated on 12lbs, Treadstone 6inch fmic, 1-7/8 headers, no cats, opg/sprocket, DW 1000cc injectors, twin GT500 pumps on pump 93 octane.
The results were 661whp/565wtq peak @ 6450rpms (Open blower) with a noise dive @ 6500rpms.
Bolted on a Sniper manifold same exact set-up no changes other than tune for the Sniper. The car laid down an impressive 719whp/594wtq @ 6850 that's a new peak power of 58whp over the stock mani & carrierd the power band to 7500rpms with a increase of 110whp @ 7000rpms over the stock mani.
Drained the tank for the E85 tune, no other changes made to the set up first pull was 810whp/673wtq :eyebulge:
Time to start adding some boost & see where she lands on kill mode, will update numbers on 15-16lbs shortly. I will add dyno sheets & over laps when I get it all together. There is an over lap already of the mani swap in: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85487 (pg12)

I love the corn power, and the way it smells. No dynos, but I picked up a shitload of power over 91. Went from 15* up top to 23*.

The 90 was from going from 93 to e85??? I would like to see how much more power e85 makes over say ms109 or ms103.Ive never really dynoed my car on 93 because of having the d1 aand 4.75 pulley,it was too risky.I am finishing up my e85 tune now and can't wait too see how the car feels.

I think my 93 tune was 17* & now @ 22* with e85

Yes sir, the final pull was 96whp more over 93 @ the same boost. I've never looked into ms103/109 because of cost over E85. I will saying going from 93 to E85 is almost the same feeling of putting the blower on for the very first time. You totally have to relearn your car & how it behaves. My R888 used to dead hook 40 & 2nd gear but now I'm back to spin city!

Damn 932 on a D1! That's awesome!
How much boost are you running?
What Manifold?
Stock motor?
Have you been to the track with those #'s?

18 PSI, GT350 manifold, built motor and trans. I've been drag racing once - admittedly need a lot more practice and was having tune issues if I tagged the limiter at all. Best was 10.8 @ 142mph. Lotta wheel hop and traction issues off the line lol so my best 60' was something like a 1.9. Car also weighed about 3870lbs and had stock PP shocks/struts and springs.

Best 1/2 mile pass (what I've built the car for) has been 172mph (Hellcats run in the mid-140s). Next event is in January and I've got a whole new suspension to get me hopefully above 175mph.

What risk, you'll be fine to get a base line on with your setup :) Looks like we are basically twins (D1/4.75). I ended up disconnecting the wastgate and and going back to the 4.75 after my last dyno. z06psi is running a smaller pulley than both of us on 93 btw. I made 633/556 prior to the Boss manifold swap; it nose dived at 6500 on stock...still need to go back to get a base line before I go e85...which will be soon!

So dumb question but how does one switch from a 93 tune to E85? Do you just run it till you're a few gallons to empty? What if you miscalculate and run out of fuel on the way to the gas station?

Is it ok to swap to that tune with a little bit of 93 in the tank? At what ratio does it not become ok?

I'm getting both tunes soon but have never messed with E85 before.

Yes, it will be ok....

Your fuel trims will take care of the blend issue.

No different than when you get E70 vs E85 without knowing. :)
