100% disagree about Kona Blue replacing Lightning Blue. It's the best Ford blue they've offered in years. I had a Kona Blue 2010 GT500 and while it's a nice color is a very dark blue.

Lead Foot Grey and Magnetic Grey are effectively the flat and metallic versions of the same color.

It would have been nice if Ford offered the "wilder" colors like Grabber Blue, Comp Orange, etc. as options you paid a little extra for.
Don't get me wrong. I prefer Lightning Blue over Kona Blue, but I see no point in two metallic blues. When Lightning Blue came, Deep Impact was out. That made sense. My wild color of choice would have been a Grabber Green option instead of Grabber Blue.

You bought two 920A's???? I am happy enough to just have one, GR033....Why two if you do not mind me asking?
It was noted above correctly. Got a great deal on a 16R and, very oddly, the moons aligned on a phone call on the day 17 order banks opened and a 17R fell in my lap (same great deal at same local dealer). Altho it was totally not my plan to do so, I ended up selling the 16 and am keeping the 17.

But I will add this. This 17R is the 40th vehicle we have owned. The 16R was the ONLY vehicle that I sold for more than I bought it for. In a moment of serendipity, a deal fell in my lap. The flamers can start now.

I would have liked to see some form of green on the 350 or maybe even the next GT500/ SE. Not so much a bright green but a matalic.

+1. I think the wife's Pacific green cobra could be swapped for a 350/500 in something similar in color.

Orange fury, I get. leadfoot grey? :tsk:

No flames from here. I am happy for others good fortune. My father always said to me......"when you are doing well, people aren't always rooting for you".

I believe that if you work hard for something, you shouldn't be second guessed or armchair quarterbacked.

Good for you!

Something in me really wants to see what the race red will look like with the lightning blue stripe....I hope someone orders one!

I guess automatic was just a rumor I helped spread.

Kind of glad AG is gone. Fewer in my color. Hold a little more value.

He bought one last year and sold it, then bought another.

I brought it up last year that with the rear camera addtion, maybe they wouldnt build base cars anymore. I was shunned... looks like i was right.
Whoever may want a base, maybe you can get one late feb, and march of 2018 builds.
Nice to see the blue stripe options on black and magnetic.
Whats weird is that my base has a camera installed and that is it! No additional wiring. I thought it would have had a different deck lid panel.

So disappointed that they are doing away with Lightning Blue!! Means it's a one year run. It's truly is a stunning color. I find Kona to be too dark/purplish for my liking. I was hoping that the R I got was going to be LB, but now I'm going to keep my options open for other colors (I really anticipated that I would be getting a 2018 R as it fits into by budget best).

Would have loved to see them resurrect Guard Green, but I guess that's being held for maybe a Bullitt edition down the road.

So yeah, orange fury R with a black roof may be in the cards.... it'd be a nice follow-up to my ex-Bondurant car that I still regret selling (at least a friend has it now).

Lightning Blue is still available in 2018. It's one of the most popular colors so I doubt t was going anywhere.

2018 online configurator is available. Base price is up $1k from 2017 for the GT350. The other change (other than the colors) is that you cannot combine the black roof with the OTT stripe.

Weirdness is that there is a new section called "Tape Stripe" and the only selection is "Less Tape Stripe" which is always selected. Makes no sense to me.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Some colors really have to have the black roof option. Stripes are a hallmark of the car. Bummer.
