Shortly after collecting my car 2 years ago, I noticed a fairly quiet metallic clink sound about a second after changing from P to S, D or R. It sounds like two bits of metal knocking together. I had it in with the dealer; after which it seemed to go away for a while. However, since then, I've noticed the sound again.
Having said this, I did notice this when driving another non-Ford with an auto transmission.
Most of the cars I drive are manual, so just wondering, is this normal for an auto or is something not right?
