New Kraftwerks Supercharger Kit Release April 2018?

Interesting release coming out soon from Kraftwerks (I know the image is S197, but the release info state systems available for 2011-2017).

Looking forward to seeing more details and images on the set up, always cool to see new kits on the market.

To quote some early info I've read:

"MSRP $5454. Awesome street kit for those not wanting monster power but a very reliable, low IAT, great street or track setup and 200+ hp over stock.
Comes complete with full bolt on kit as well as upgraded injectors included!"

Hmm, not a bad price point. They got some stiff competition with Procharger, Paxton, etc,. Be interesting to see more of this.

I wonder if that is using a Rotrex like their other systems. I'm also curious if they are going to do an E.O. kit and what power it would make, since the small print says that's Crank HP with headers, exhaust and a tune...

You have a point there.

Read about these in the S2k forums. My coworker has one on his S2000, pulled it and sold it before warranty expired. Not a kit I would run.

Got an image after I inquired with Kraftwerks for one ...

The head unit looks tiny, and looks like plumbing goes right from blower to throttle body, no intercooler?

plus its just sucking the hot air in off the headers. bad design.

The Rotrex units are small, but they pack a punch!
I don't like the filter location though!!!! Looks a bit hodge podge to me.

i dont have a dog in this fight but everyone said that with the procharger stuff on the 05-14 mustang kits. and we NEVER had a problem. the air is getting intercooled. so as long as the intercooler they use is up to par it will be fine

Pony-up a few more bucks and go with something proven

I noticed that too. Must not have given any adverse effects being above the manifolds?
