How many miles on your new car when you picked it up?

I believe mine was 7, which was interesting because it was on the dealer lot for a little bit.

My RS had 4 if I remember correctly, I thought it was acceptably low considering the trek that little thing had.

I run or bike often at the port of Portland and see Mustangs offloaded from trains, sent to holding lots, then moved again for transport to dealers. The distance between those loading and unloading points can be a mile or two with every transfer. Probably a boring job but some of those guys probably drive dozens of mustangs a few miles every day.

29 miles on mine, 5 of those from me. I test drove a lightning blue base gt as well that I really liked but it had 1200 miles on it.

My new 1984 SVO had 348 miles on it when I drove it off the dealer showroom. I'm sure it had a hundred demos on it but I got it at a good price and it was awesome (given that it was 1984). I still have the engine.

IIRC mine had 29 miles on it. Special order. Its my understanding that Ford did QC testing on 2015s. Mine was one of the early ones.
My 2011 GT/CS convertible.had 3000 miles on it when I bought it new. The dealers wife drove it for almost a year before they sold it. Gave me everything as new and a huge discount.

Same-ish. 13-15 mi retail order.

I've bought 6 new cars since 2011 and every one of them has had well over 100 Kms on the odo, one of them around 270. The dealer didn't have exactly what we wanted so he does dealer swap with whatever the closest dealer is that has one. They are supposed to adjust the warranty to take that into account.

My special order was delivered to the dealer with 8 miles. Probably 7 but with going to PPI and the wash bay it was 8 on the paperwork.

My special order 2017 GT Premium PP, I think it had 7. But I know noone touched that car but me, straight off the truck, cleaned up, detailed, gassed up & parked for me to pick up.

But:
probably 5+- miles at the factory to test things out,
maybe 1/2 mile, shuffling from warehouse to yard, to train yard to truck or whatever
then 1 miles when the dealership drove to a gas station to fill it up with gas for delivery.

But I've had a couple of cars with almost 100 miles on them. My 2014 GT Prem Convertible, had been their showroom car for a long time and I think had been on quite a few test drives so it had like 90 something miles on it. One of my F150's had about 100 miles on it, but it came from another dealer about 50 miles away, so the 2 dealerships did a swap and just drove one each way.

62kms dealer stock. I know the dealer did 20 sending it out to different shops to get things added on/tuned and transferring between lots. I did 15 on the test drive. Arrived at the dealer in March 2016 and bought in Feb 2017

23 on mine, special order

My special order 2016 GT had 8.9 miles when it arrived at the dealer. I was there to watch it be unloaded from the transit truck so the mileage was put on at the plant. I was puzzled to see that many miles on it. I bought a 2008 Bullitt that was in the dealer showroom (not special ordered) with only 2.4 miles.

My current car (the 2016 GT) was held back for a seatbelt recall before it left the plant. My guess is that it was moved around the lot a few times before being finally loaded onto the transport truck. Still...8 miles is a lot of driving in a parking lot.

100 roughly. No worries. Everybody was probably beating the crap out of it just like me.

250 on mine, was a dealer trade before I bought it from Daytona Beach to Nokomis , Florida. Built 10/17 which I guess is just when 2018's started coming off the line. Made out good, got 4500 off msrp and the other dealer had the side label that showed Llumar lifetime tint, initial environment paint coating, etc that my dealer did not charge for.
