Hood Vent Turn Signal Kit for 15 and 17+

The hood blinkers are a nod to Mustangs of the past.
The 1967 and some 1968 Mustangs with the "Deluxe hood" had these hood blinkers.

It's not really about any true functional need.
I think that they are a nice feature that speaks of Mustang heritage.

While the car is new and I still haven't gotten over love at first sight, I really don't have a problem with anything on my Mustang and think the indicators and the puddle pony are cool little features.

Also, I haven't had a new vehicle in 13 years, the last one being a 2004 F-250 6.0 diesel 4WD, so there are a lot of cool little features on this car I really like.

The hood vent turn signals seem like a waste of time and money to me, lol.

Pointless!

I actually like this solution better than the stock ones because they sit behind the grate instead of taking up half of it on the outside.

I really like my hood turn signals, and my wife thinks they are cool. I'm glad there is an aftermarket solution for people who want them and can't get them stock anymore.

They are actually rather worthless as you can only see the driver's side. The passenger side you can see if you lean waaaaaaaaay over. Hood ridges are too tall for the blinker placement.

If you have a dashcam, I guess the dash cam could see that you have your signal on. So not entirely worthless.

Good point. I don't use a dashcam but am going to buy one. So I guess I won't deactivate the hood indicators.

I loved the '16 because of those blinkers, sure I only see one but my female ride along would get surprised when I turn on the other blinker.

This new solution is a very cool answer for the 15 & 17s though.

Good indicators for the cars beside you on the highway as well. Well, at night time at least.

strange, I never have cars beside me on the freeway... day or night.

even the 5-10 are behind, never infront or beside.

For me, they remind me of the first car I ever owned, a 1967 with the delux hood and I absolutely loved them. To have them back may be pointless to you but some people like them.

Some people have absolutely no decency and think they know everything lol
