2016 Mustang Ordering Begins May 11th

July 31, last order for 2015! This might be a low production run. they produced them for less than a year. I still don't see tons of them out here and to me that is a GOOD thing!

Well sync 3 is already confirmed so you are already wrong.

SYNC 3 alone is enough for me to wait.

Synch 3 is worth the wait for sure.

Sync 3 doesn't apply to base models, does it?

Ordered from the UK and have been told build date September and delivery November. Anyone know if this means we get the 2016 with SYNC 3 "or" will they use up what's left for our cars? The lack of firm info for us here in the UK is frustrating to say the least.

As someone who's now stuck with the terrible MyFordTouch on my 2015.....

+1 on waiting for Sync 3!

Nope...unless they make it an stand-alone option in 2016.

I mean you could see some options change and packages get swapped/moved etc.

I'd love to see CTA/Blind Spot be it's own package or added to the reverse sensing package.

Yah after reading some stuff about it, it does seem pretty good. Might be worth the wait.

Also, I've always been told that 2nd gen of any model year is the one to get. Get all the kinks worked out and you get all the improvements before they start really focusing on the mid-cycle.

I don't know much about the mustang program, but I think there's only 1 question you need to ask yourself:

Do you care more about performance or infotainment?

If you just want performance, get a 15 and call it a day. If you infotainment is important to you, SYNC Gen 3 is laughably better than MFT. Especially in voice recognition - lots of money went there and towards making it faster and easier to use.

Yes the GT350/R will be 2016 models

Dang, of course right after I place an order last week. Oh well, I dont think I could wait any longer anyways, and I have no voice commands in my old 2001 GT anyway, so not sure if the MFT could be as horrible as some people say it is.. I hope :(

The current version is actually pretty good (fewest TGWs in the industry actually), it was the original 2.0 software that had all the problems. With that said, SYNC Gen 3.0 is still quite a bit better.

SYNC 3 seems like a notable improvement from the videos I've seen but I really hate that all-white background they use for it. I much prefer the color scheme of MFT and I hope SYNC 3 allows us to change the color to black.

Also, if Guard Green isn't returning for 2016 I'm definitely going with the 2015. I need that color with PP black rims.
