those are some nasty rims...either covered with grime and dust or they're matte for testing

The fangs don't look nearly as bad on a dark colored car.

I would say a combination of both including some spray paint.

I think its just sun glare over the matte black paint giving that effect :)
Indeed.

Topnotch indicated that the (GCI) GT350 in the launch video was, in fact, Avalanche. So, a lighter metallic grey than Magnetic.

I'm confused as to what you mean..

There wasn't a z/28 there?
Im just guessing on this but I think what he means is because the tires on the Z/28 would be useless in cold weather

Sorry I didn't see your message earlier 1320.

Stanglife had commented that "They are likely cold-weather testing. All manufacturers do this with their vehicles."

My comment "What's the point with a Z/28?" that followed was asking what is the point of GM testing a Z/28 in cold-weather, when the suspension and tires would be impossibly stiff in anything but dry warm weather.

I suspect they still did do cold weather testing just to comply with regulations.

They do. I agree though, most sane people wouldn't try to drive certain cars in the freezing cold but they should still be able to if required.

Check this out :)

It is all wheel drive, not really relevant
So it's not relevant to the fact that cars typically not seen in or driven in cold weather are cold-weather tested? I think it's relevant.

All cars are cold weather tested, ok.

This Ferrari is marketed to the euro crowd that wants to get to alps for a ski trip in style. So this car is not relevant as this is part of its expected duty
