I like the lower hood line-

Dont like the headlights or the lower grill....

I dont like that the headlight and the wheel well make a V shape- the opposing directions doesnt feel natural...

If the 2017 and 2018 had a baby -18 lower hood line with 17 headlights and 17 lower grill- add in the 18 fog lights I think it would be perfect...

Thats it Im quitting my job and sending my resume to Ford design team lol

I think the front of 18 looks pretty good. Not saying 17 looks bad, just saying 18 is just as good or even better.

I know how you feel. But if Ford released your beautiful new design, and we all harshly criticized it anyway, THEN where would you go?

Id go to Toyota. Based on the new prius they have no standards at all and dont care what the public thinks lol

Nice alignment Ford
I'm pretty sure that's because of the angle the shot was taken, the hood aligns perfectly well in other shots of the video. Remember there's a slope transition from the side to the center of that front fascia. Look at the part from 00:15~00:20.

Why the fuck are people still discussing the front end? This was beat to death ad nauseam in February. Did the unveiling of Roush's shit show design re-ignite the inner automotive designer in everyone?
Because it is that bad to many of us. I was hoping Roush had the answer, but from the images out recently they don't in my opinion. Pains me to say it, been a Ford guy and Mustang guy forever, the 18 still isn't growing on me. Still hoping that will change but for now I can't get past the front end... the hood is a very close second too.

"perfectly well" :headbonk:
It's the same bad aligned dropping hood that the prefl model had.

Here's another video of a 2018 at a dealership:

The front bumper itself I think is the issue here. It seems that in the middle it rises up a bit and then i slopes down to the sides. Seems like the whole bumper seems missaligned.
The lighter the color the easier to se the misalignment

I agree, people say it will get better with time but it doesn't!

I will say the front nose looks marginally better from the side than the '15 but viewing front on or from an angle it's disappointing.
