I also plan to dyno against the 93 tune after the switch. Hopefully get a couple logs in too. After the E85 of course.

I'm excited because I have e85 near me but no 93, only 91

Just wanted to ask, if I plan on running 93 would you suggest the flex tune or run the 93 tune or is there even a difference?

i would guess from here on out, lund will have the ability for flex fuel as a standard, that will allow 87/91/93 as well

That would be an improvement over the competition. As I understand it they use 91 as the lowest grade usable.

This is what I was waiting for! I would just like to see a few before and after dyno sessions to see actual gains using this tune and I'm in. I really hope this will also work with torco as well as e85. I have several 32oz bottles of torco and no local e85 stations.

If your going to run 93 only he has a 93 Tune which youd love, I'd just get the flex fuel just in case you decide the throw in a random, tank of e85 one day to test it

we don't get hung up in dyno numbers, every car / dyno / elevation is different, you will have the best tune available, that i can promise

I asked basically the same thing on FB. Here's the exchange:

Me: With the Flex can we run 91, or is the floor still 93?

Lund Racing: 91 will be fine.

Me: Are there any trade offs to this or reason to continue with a straight 93 tune?

Lund Racing: No trade offs. The 93 tune has always been able to run 91. We just do not recommend going lower than 91 with our tune. It's setup with adaptive octane logic like OEM. Flex fuel is adaptive stoich logic to adapting to varying ethanol content. Both will be used simultaneously now :)

I sent my ticket in, Are we expecting a longer turn around time? I assume they were flooded with the E85 request.

I have the e85 tune with 52lb injectors that I paid 100 for tune... will this flex fuel tune give me the same amount of power running straight e85 like on my current tune?
