Gang, I am about to reinstall Cat deletes for track season. I had the original install done by a shop to weld the stock catz for me.

Silly question, what gasket or gasketing material do I need to reinstall the deletes, if I need any at all. Noticed the driver side had a pinkish residue when removed.

I used OEM gaskets. I bought a extra passenger side gasket and used it on the driver's side.

The oem gasket is the best gasket to use.

OEM gasket it is. I was reading how the liquid gasket stuff is supposed to work better.
Cant get any safer the OEM for novices like myself

Also to mention the oem gasket is reusable as long as you don't F it up. So only need 2 total then just swap from the cat pipes to the deletes and back and forth.
