Thanks brother. Since you are close to the refineries, do any stations near you have ethanol free gas? Do they charge a premium or same price as ethanol blend?

Yes they have a few stations that offer ethanol free fuel. Some only have 87, but some go all the way up to 93. And yes they do charge a little more afaik

Wish we had e85 within a reasonable distance. Closest station is 60+ miles away

For the longest time the closest E85 station was 40 miles away. Now one of our Sheetz gas stations 5 miles from my house has Flex Fuel and it’s always E80 -85.

Forget which brand or station because I was searching for the corn!

Stopped at a station on Kearny Mesa Blvd, 91 octane was $4.89! but I filled up with E85 for $2.99 a gallon.

Premium 91 at Shell and Chevron in the IE Cali is $3.90 to $4.09

I filled up Sat. with Elote for $2.70

Mostly 92 octane around here. Finding 93 has apparently been difficult for me.

I Filled up at the Safeway last night. 3.59/gal. That's about .30 cheaper than it is anywhere around Seattle. If I aim for the costco's around here I can get it for 3.39/gal if I happen to be by one.

Shell by my house is $2.80 for 87 and $3.40 for 93.
Costco is $2.53 for 87 and $2.83 for 93.

Worth the 10 min drive to Costco haha

UK prices work out roughly $8.08 USD per US Gallon (3.7 litre's ish) thats for what we call super plus which I think is equiv of your 93 octane i think

If gas prices climb that high, I'd go electric, public transit, or ride a bike. However, I'd still have a stang with a full tank of gas for the weekends.
