When building your own car on the ford website what price can I expect t to pay ?

Should I time it to be ready during a sale like Labor Day ?

Any tips ? I’m ready to put a deposit down.

All the rebates plus about 2500-2800 out of the dealer pocket. so right around 55-5800 off MSRP for the car, on the contract, where it says price for the car after everything.

that's what you'll get after haggling, or just talking to the fleet.internet guy.

quick story on my '17, Went in Negotiated, they acted like i was removing their appendix w/o anesthesia. got 5800 off total. 2 days later the internet guy calls me on the same build, asks if i'm interested. i say how much? after a short pause, 200 less then what i paid. Let them Whine! :headbonk:

MSRP?, what is the rebate on the ford site? Also run it through true car, see their price.

I don’t know of any rebates.
I was thinking of ordering it at a date where I can receive it during Labor Day rebates

Plus I’m paying cash...writing a check.

If you are planning on timing it for Labor day you might want to order quickly. Production on the 2019s is just starting and retail orders won't be the first fulfilled.

I have been waiting for almost 4 months on my car that I ordered the beginning of February.

I thought people's 2018 orders were getting cancelled? Wouldn't that mean your automatically getting a 2019 if you order now?

If you order now you are getting a 19. They stopped 18 orders a while ago and will be switching over production to 19 early June if I recall correctly.

https://www.truecar.com/ Configure it, see what it's offered at, and see what dealers have on the lot and the price they are giving to true car. may or may not be a good deal. I see a msrp of 33675 and purchase price of 30,921. i think you can do much better

https://shop.ford.com/showroom/?gnav=header-tools&linktype=build#/

see the rebates. I see a 1500 rebate right now. Call dealer anonymously and ask. then add what you can get out of the dealer on top of that. I'd say 2000 would be acceptable.

Now is a good time to snag an 18, for my 18 pp1 GT with an msrp of 46 and change I was able to walk away with 39500 out the door price ( after A LOT of back and forth) but dealers are trying to clear some of their inventory and especially ones that have been sitting on the lot for a while

When I got my ecoboost it was near that price. There were $2000 in rebates available that I qualified for at the time. I ended up getting a total of 6k off the car before ttl.

Hopefully that helps.

My local dealer said there are dealers that will sell below invoice but they were not one of them...very small dealership in small city.

I guess I’ll be buying elsewhere.

I’d be happy with a dealer discount and a ford rebate.
