That’s way too much, I’ll put DRL’s in my 17’s headlights, maybe get some Project 6GR wheels with Michelin rubber and hang onto mine.

They will be in discount mode by year end - stupid !!!

Yep. Will be cancelling mine when I get offical pricing from dealer if it’s that high. Will then look at other cars and maybe come back in a year when it’s 60k driveaway discounted

Makes the 55K '17 GT run out stock with extended warranty/servicing look very attractive.

Just got word that pricing for the 2018 GT Auto is $73,280

Confirmed we get 10 speed auto, active exhaust and tri-bars
Melbourne dealers now doing GT Autos brand new at $54 k driveaway. That's with 5 year Ford factory warranty and three years free servicing.

Twenty grand.

I guess that's on road. That's about $8k more than old RRP. Wow. That's a bigger jump than I thought. Good luck with that one Ford. That exhaust is cool though. How reliable is this word?
It’s reliable I think. From a dealer friend reading from what he’s received re pricing.

At first thought I'd think no way would I pay around $80k for a new Mustang, and you would have to pay that much for the auto, with magnetic ride suspension, forged wheels.

But then again I've finally got mine going and handling great - possibly like the new one will go and handle and let me see what that cost, hmm...$65k + $3,500 on suspension, $1,500 CAI & tune, $4,000 20" forged wheels, $2,500 on Michelin tyres. So total $76,500.

Hmmm not that far apart really, but in a few years time when I come to trade if the price has dropped to $70k drive away it might be OK. But if it stays around $75 to $80k with the right options, then as a number have said, an RS3, or second hand M4 is looking good!

I'm hearin ya on that M4. Very classy looking coupe. Nice wide stance and low roofline. Give that RS3 a miss though. Just a hot shopping trolley.

Surely the cycle will repeat for the 2018's? Ford dealers will order an abundance of stock, they will sit in the yards not selling and the dealer will then reduce costs considerably to move them on. Id rather wait 6 + months if I was in the market and see where the pricing is down the track.

Are you able to confirm standard drive-away price for Manual GT please?
Depends on dealer delivery & location, but for me it's $1995 & $69,260ish with metallic paint as the only option.

OTT Stripes - $650
Silver Wheels - $500
Forged Wheels - $2500
Sick Wing - $750
Recaros - $3000
MagneRide - $2750

MLP no ORC. (+Rego, stamps, dealer delivery)
Eco Manual - $49,990
Eco Auto - $52,990
Eco Vert - $59,490
GT Manual - $62,990
GT Auto - $66,259 (includes LCT)
GT Vert - $74,709 (includes LCT)

Obviously this is all up to your dealer and they can charge whatever they want.
