So base guys get a great deal, but sounds like if you want premium, you get screwed.

You kind of get screwed with the recaros, but the premium with the 401a comes with a lot.

In my region it is $1500 rebate and some dealers are beating X-plan.

It's likely possible to get a 301a and PP2 for right around $40-41K. Pretty good deal assuming PP2 is the real thing.

Cloth recaros was not an option for me. Maybe because i got 401a? I just kept the premium leather with midnight blue accent instead of paying for the leather recaros. All I saw was the $1500 leather recaros option.

301a would have the cloth recaros if desired, on the 401a they would be a option.

I don't think I would be concerned about storing the tires in cold weather. I heard all kinds of tales about the Goodyear tires cracking in cold weather. I followed Fords recommendation to not drive the GT500 when temps are below 40 degrees. I store my 2014 GT500 in an unheated garage in Minnesota. I have stored it for three Winters with no cracks on any tire. We get days of 20 or more degrees below zero. Yet no cracked tires.
