Car is a 16 GT, manual 3.31 gears. Car pulled 427whp 378tq with the gt350 manifold and 420whp 389tq with the stock manifold. Didn't think the tq loss would be that much, but knew it would take a hit. I'm pretty disappointed in the whp though, really only a 7 hp gain? All pulls were done on the same dynojet dyno, both on e85 flex tune, just one with the gt350 manifold the other with the stock manifold. Yes the curve gains are where it really counts, but still. Stock manifold was falling off at around 6700rpm, gt350 kept pulling up to 7700rpm. Is it just me or does this seem kind of low for numbers on e85? I'm seeing the majority of dyno's in the 430whp+ range on pump gas and same mods. was about 84 degrees out today. What do you guys think?

Was the tune adjusted when you put the 350 intake on?

yes, I've been running the tune with the manifold setup for a while. I'm getting long tubes put on next week so I got a baseline with the manifold only. The power increase was definitely noticeable with the manifold. Pulled hard on a tuned/cai 16 challenger scatpack with ease up top. I just can't believe 7whp is all I gained peak. I'm sending logs and dyno sheets to my tuner

Can anyone tell me about what my AFR should be on flex fuel e85 with my setup? AFR is at 9.8 on my dedicated e85 tune but on my flex tune, still filled with e85, i'm at 11.8-12. I have to wait until monday to get answers back from my tuner and i'm anxious as hell right now so if you have some insight, please chime in

9.8 on e85 is perfect. 12 is boom country. Seriously don't run that flex tune on e85.

my tune was being adjusted as I was dealing with a vacuum leak, once I got the leak taken care of I logged and my tuner said he sent both the adjusted dedicated e85 and flex fuel tunes back. I told him about the different afr readings and was told to give time for kam learning on the flex tune. But yeah it's still at 11.8-12

For the Flex Fuel enabled tunes your MAF calibration needs to be spot on and you can't have leaks otherwise your ECM will calculate the incorrect alcohol percentage.

With that said, a dedicated E85 tune is going to have a stoich for E85 baked in there.

Did you test your fuel to know for sure it is ~80% ethanol?

No I didn't, I'm on the flex fuel tune so didn't feel the need to. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but will the afr change based on the quality of the e85 when on the flex fuel tune?

Yes. E85 with the expected 85% ethanol will have a stoich of 9.8 and that value goes up as the alcohol percentage lessens. Throughout the year the actual amount of ethanol in the E85 you get at the pump will change with the season. You will find it will be from ~85% all the way to ~50% ethanol depending the season and where you live.
