V6 safe speed

Quick question,

Is it safe to go over about 135 in the S550 V6? I've heard stories of V6 S197s having the driveshaft fall off while going around the speed and I'm always nervous to go over it.

Yes, as long as it's a residential area.

From what I've read, we've got the same driveshaft now as the GTs so you should be good up to (at least) whatever those are limited to (and I think that's because of tires).

ive done 150 no problem.

I raced a 15 GT which slow walked me. Was up to 135 but the problem was stopping when coming up behind traffic. I need better brakes.
