Thanks for the answer, make sure to post back once you get it installed for the full confirmation! Good to be able to find clear answers.

I ran those Focal's (same ones just a few years back) and loved them. A lot of folks consider the Focal tweets on the harsher side, but they aren't too bad in my opinion. Curious how they do off the factory amp, I ran mine off an old 90x2 Zed amp and a 100 watt Kenwood 5chl.

I also cancelled my order for the Hertz and bought focal performance 165ac.

Ok installed the passenger side and everything went smoothly. I used the existing OEM brackets and harness and came out fantastic. Super clean install. Also used fast rings and sound deatning.

As far as sound quality with stock amp, I would say it is little cleaner than factory but not louder due to the hold back on the factory amp.
The focal tweeters are too bright and can make your ears bleed if you turn up the treble.

Anyways I definitely need a dsp and a amp for the front speakers.

Here are some pictures.

About the same. The woofer on the focal has little bit less bass than the factory. These speakers require an amp.

Well my driver side tweeter is blown already. It is fuzzing bad specially in FM source.

I think it might be that the factory rweters were 8ohm and these are 4ohm. The focal tweeters are extremely sharp and loud even with my treble all the way down.

Honestly these speakers are not worth the $479 retail price tag. Thank God I only paid $102 for them. They are also made in China instead of the higher end focals that are made in spain.

The 3.5" mids and the tweeters are wired in parallel. So that's probably the reason why it blew. Also, if you get the 8Ohm tweeters and retain the Focal midrange, that would still result in mismatched impedance.

So what should I do to make this correct match?

Well! I am not an expert, brother! So, I can only tell you what I've read, and what I've installed. Just checked that yours is a 3 way setup, and I'm not sure of how the others have wired this. But I can tell you that you can either get a separate 6.5" woofer and 3.5" component setup (which is what I have), or get a 3.5" full range (Infinity REF 3022, Polk 351 are good options), separate 6.5" woofer, and disconnect the tweeter. Disconnecting the tweeter will solve the mismatched impedance.

Request other, more experienced, members to pitch in!

Update

Front passanger side focal woofer is blown. Not even 1000 miy on them running with stock head unit and amp. Do not buy these speakers they are pure garbage.
