Whipple car runs bad - tune issues

Interesting, probably coincidence but I received my tomahawk handheld and sent in my tune request 5 days ago. Came back from my trip and no tune file. I will hit them up tomorrow. They must be very busy.

Did you get your tune file yet?

Dustin is working on it. He has emailed me a couple times and we have exchanged some data but we don’t have a resolution yet.

No, I called and they only had a record of the second time I sent it. Which is fine stuff happens and e-mail can be weird. In fairness I sent it to a support guy on accident and not the tuning department so that’s my bad.

I expected it Friday but hope it comes Monday.

Super excited though to check it out and get ready for spring.

Bump Whipple. Still no news...

Dustin is actively working on it. If it is a tune issue it may take a bit of time since they CARB certify their tunes. If it is not a tune issue hopefully they can point us to what we did wrong. Either way Im giving them some time to diagnose as I would prefer a proper fix rather than sending out "try this" changes.

We have located the issue and working on the resolution. Once its done, we will post it.

That's great news. Will this be part of an updated tune revision for everyone or just for the people that have observed an issue?

Excellent news! The more I have driven my car on the freeway, the more I think I have the same problem with surging in 5th and 6th gear.

Funny thing is I have heard nothing from them regarding my logs. I am the OP...
