2 days until my blend date ..hoping my edd doesn't stay at 5/22...Matco is getting my hopes up...dying for that cotus update...cant come soon enough

Just got done chatting with ford performance again this morning and this is the update I received,

Tom says:
As of 4/23 I'm showing the vehicle is passing through an intermediate point in Nebraska to be loaded on a transport from rail. ETA is 4/29-5/1
Matthew says:
So its going by truck from Nebraska to my dealer? or its getting transferred onto another train?
Tom says:
Truck to the dealer.
Matthew says:
Interesting I wonder why? is that normal?
Tom says:
Standard procedure, that's how all vehicles are delivered to the dealer.

Why would it travel by rail to Nebraska then go by truck to Nevada?

That's weird. I thought all cars going to Southern California go through Las Vegas via train. There is a huge Union Pacific rail yard there.

Yea seems like a waste to have it go 4 states by train then 3 states by truck and the last 3 are huge compared to the first 4

My blend date was 4/12 I went to awaiting shipment at 1AM 4/13

Ok...so the car has been built, awaiting shipment...any idea how long it usually takes to go in transit. My car was built in Michigan, live in Rhode Island...bought it form one of the bigger dealerships in New England. I know some of you have been waiting a while, but I've also seen cases where cars were ordered after mine and are on their way...weather is getting nice and I'm starting to get antsy...FP mentioned it hasn't been released from the factory and to check back next week.

Mine went into awaiting shipment on 4/13 and then in transit 4/18 then back to awaiting shipment on 4/20 then back to in transit on 4/21

Your telling me, so a recap Monday car was in Iowa, then Tuesday and Wednesday it was in Nebraska then today Wyoming, hopefully tomorrow its in Utah or Nevada or it might go to Idaho then down to Nevada not sure but as long as its in Vegas before I leave town ill be good to go :cheers:
