hi guys, so i want to change my transmission oil before i go to the track this year i have the original stuff in there right now and i kinda want.to keep it.that way unless i can be convinced i need somwthing else. i am mainly looking for protection in those track days what are u guys using? ive heard of the bg oil but.never heard of the brand i would run amsoil but they dont.make anything.for it. any recomendations?

Amsoil makes a cocktail alot of people use. Royal Purple Synchromesh is also great.

It's a good idea to change it to something better for smoother cold shifting and more protection from extreme heat you will see at the track.

You should probably state whether this is an AT or MT.

For the MT, a lot of people are running BG in the MT-82, including myself, and it's a damn sight better than the stock fluid.

No worries about the BG fluid. It has been approved to the Ford specification and is not a risk for warranty. It is a very significant improvement in shift quality. Many Ford dealers that know their stuff suggest it for customer cars.

A lot of people around here are running BG (including myself), don't think there's been a one that has had a bad thing to say about it. Rather ALL positive, and been around for years now.
