And too much money means they price themselves out of the market. What is the ZL1/1LE going for? 70K MSRP I believe. You can bet that range will be a target.

If you build it they will pay! Never ceases to amaze me but the money is out there!
Especially if it is a game changer. ADM's could be sick.

We’ll see, I think base will be around 75k and go up to around 90ish. If they have no production numbers limit at that price ADM will go away much faster. The first set will pay ADM as usual but when the price starts getting that high a lot of people are eliminated financially which means if production ain’t limited they need to move cars. This happen with the Z06, first set ADM after 3-6 months MSRP and some light discounts.

I'm going to go with the base coming in at $74k and with options it could be in the $90's.

It really depends on what options there are and what is standard equipment. I'm assuming magneride and active exhaust will be standard, which I expect will put the car over $60k (assuming it has the blown 5.2 and a DCT).

I'm interested to find out whether the GT500 will have carbon fiber wheels as standard. I think there might be a model without the carbon fiber wheels, which could still be under $70k IMO.

If it's RWD with no added electric FWD trickery, that keeps my expectations of cost down.

I agree the light weighting could be expensive, depending on what they do. Will the light weight components be standard or optional? That will make a difference on how low a price is possible.

Will Ford want to pull a repeat of the GT350 marketing strategy with a low cost model that virtually no one wants so they can advertise a low price? Should be interesting.

Definitely going to be priced at around $65-$70 for a stripper base model and probably go up to $90k optioned out. Dont forget the $20k mark ups dealers will be slapping all over this car on top of that price.

The LAST GT500 (13/14) was loaded at 70K. The performance gap will be huge between this one and the last, not to mention a DCT.

Base 65k loaded 75k, perhaps 80k with a track pack that has carbon wheels. I wouldn't start with a 350 then add supercharger cost etc. The engine research cost couldn't be near what they spent developing the FPC. Anything over 80k and it will begin to price itself out of market. At that point I'd rather get a 3rd 350 and build out with F.I.

The sticker on my 2015 GT500 was right at $67. So, I would wager it will come in fully optioned at around $74-$82K before ADM...I've never paid an ADM on anything, so that really doesn't concern me.

I'm gonna say $65k base and who knows from there how high it will go. The Ceramic brakes and what not will be out of my league. Wishfull thinking I say $60k base, $10k more than my GT350 base. I'm torn on if I even want it to be in my range though. If I can't afford it I can't be tempted.

On second thought, don't see it being under $65k. Forgot my 2016 base lacks magride, and additional coolers added standard in 17. No way ford makes that mistake again. Also no way they force us to chose tech or track either.

^^
This
With a bit of simple calculations tho, one can guess it within a small figure.
For the R version it will be up there. Think of an R, 69K. add a supercharger (8K) DCT (6k) plus extra carbon bits maybe 4K. Its 87K range for the R. For base with manual subtract a healthy dose = 10K, base is gonna run around 77k.
It all depends on what is offered and nobody really knows that yet.

Edit: Then add some more, just like you say.
