I'm not sure if this was already posted but the car at the Toronto Motor Show in Canada was VP008. It had Recaros.

I've heard from a few 18 owners that the clutch and shifter are easier and smoother to use now, so the Bullitt will benefit from those 2018 changes as well. I haven't driven one yet but I'm excited to try it. The clutch engagement is the only thing I don't love about my 2016 sometimes. Not very precise or easy to use compared to other modern manual clutches. I have no complaints with the shifter itself.
Test drove a 2018 GT manual a couple nights ago and the clutch peddle was almost too soft, not much resistance, it took a while to get used to, and half as much effort as I'm used to, the shifter worked very nicely.

Sounds similar to the 6th gen Camaro clutch. A little weird at first for sure.

So the 2018 3.73 1st gear goes to 50mph instead of the previous 3.73 cars 42mph? Is that because of higher redline alone or are the actual trans gears taller?

Gearing is taller in the 2018s. Both 5th and 6th are overdrive gears now. This is the reason some people are complaining that the manual 2018s without the performance pack actually feels a little slower off the line than the 15s-17s because they only have the 3.55s instead of 3.73s.

GT350 I drove like that. It had almost 0 weight at all, I could barely tell when the clutch was in or out.

There is a video from CJ pony parts that says the steeda spring significantly improves the clutch feel on the 18's. I'm gonna drive around stock for a little and see how I feel but I assume one of the first things I would do to the car is throw in the spring and maybe the MGW shifter if needed.

I just got the most recent issue of Motor Trend. There was a short article about the Bullitt. It sounds like there will be a PP2 option for the Bullitt.

I doubt that as it would add a spoiler and different wheels.

I really wish the Bullitt grille still had the "Fangs" incorporated in the upper grille... I hate to say it, but that specific grille from that angle give me a *shutters* "fusion" vibe

Nice! Someone in another thread mentioned seeing a Bullitt on his way to work in San Francisco, must have been this. So excited to see the results of this photoshoot.

Maybe they are shooting some sort of debut media in San Francisco because they are close to finalizing pricing and production information.

With orders opening in 2 weeks, supposedly, I would hope that it has been nailed down already. They have had months.
