Hi Guys,

May have missed an earlier thread on this, but just wanted to see what people are paying.

This is on the 5.0 V8.

I'm 25, 3 years no claims bonus, 5 penalty points for speeding 4 years ago (woops).

Based on 10k miles social, domestic, commuting and business and Churchill coming in the cheapest at £643 a year on compare the market.

Thoughts?

£643 doesn't seem unreasonable. I'm about £420 with Aviva, but i'm 48 and 3 points. Car has springs, spacers, exhaust and a bunch of cosmetic mods.

That's a damn good price mate for your age. I paid that for my Ecoboost the first year (1 minor accident in last 3 years, 2 years no claims).

Edit: I'm 30 years young :)

Mine was about £600 with an exhaust and new steering wheel when I was 26.

I'm 29 in a few weeks and a quote on a new MY18 model, GT, 5.0L Manual, Magneride, is about £720 without mods. I'll have 9yrs no claims this year and have a squeaky clean driving record.

Insurance is weird.

£643 at the age of 25 I'd say is damn good going, in all honesty, especially when you've got five points!

42yo, GT, £360 with a £350 excess with the car insured as parked on street. Not too shabby I thought.
