I have just bought a cat back aftermarket exhaust - in stainless steel - but it has (welded) shiny tips

As all of the rest of my Mustang has no chrome or shiny bits - I thought I might spray the tips matt black BEFORE I fit it

Any tips? (pardon the pun) :D

I will need heat resistant paint i realise - any preferred make?

I used a spray can, of stove paint, halfrauds has some for less than a 5'er, just scuff them up, and whack some on, the stove paints don't generally need a primer but read instructions first and follow those :)!

Check that it can withstand the temp, I've seen people use it on calipers but may start to peel with excess heat
