While the mule's disguise is quite extensive, there are a few things of which we're fairly certain at this point. For starters, there have been strong indications that the next Mustang will receive Ford's new ten-speed automatic transmission.

We should also see some styling tweaks to the base and GT models (the exact powertrain mix for the refreshed Mustang is still unclear). On this mule, for instance, we see what appear to be restyled up-trim headlights incorporating a new "signature" style.

I've always wondered if car companies send out new cars with camo on them just to give us something to talk about in the forums

Probably, and it spikes interests therefore possibly more sales.

Thanks Top!

Man this just looks so good...seeing the front straight on now...hood looks great.

Interesting LED ring pattern there around the lights.

Total fail on the halos... oh well. It will be pretty busy looking with those and the tri bar DRLs, what was the logic here?

Wonder what those a-pillar gauge pods are for. Also... is it really going to have the ford logo that obvious on the top dead center of the windshield? That is retarded.

Couple things:

1) Tri-bar DRL's still there, with a little bit of a different shape, more like tri-boomerang?
2) Basically flat hood :(
3) Rings around the main projector lamps are interesting...will have to see it all together before I can judge it
4) It appears they went to a totally different exhaust supplier, more similar to what GM uses on the Camaro...look at the shape/construction of the mufflers!
5) No significant changes at the back of the car, probably just lightly restyled accents, but overall the same shape and features

Looks like a new hood?
The tri-bar look like they have some reflective material into the light housing instead of the flush looking on the current one. More of a 3D look.
