Points for the Shelby:
Name
Handleing
Power
Style (opinion based)
Likely will resell better

Points for the Bullitt
Name
Style (opinion based)
Likely lower maintenance as based on mass production 5.0

Unless you really like the paint job or the style. I don't think many would trade their shelby.

Personally I'd like a Bullitt with the SHELBY handling/5.2. Best of both worlds IMO.

If it was going to be offered with the A10 I would have. But since they said it won't have the A10, I traded my Shelby in on a base 18 with the A10 that is going to get a Procharger and many suspension and brake upgrades. Traded it in on Feb. 6.

Based on the possibility that the cost will be close, I would not personally do it. JMHO though...

Yeah, I have not been tempted to trade in my Boss, YET, but the Bullitt, depending on price, might be tempting. I got my Boss new for 42k, was never really tempted by the GT350 because of the price and the whole cooler issue. The Bullitt might be out of my price range too, but I have always liked them....

Unless I misread the specs why would I trade for a car with less hp less aero and less track chops?

I think the Bullitt is a pretty cool car. Not a fan of the wheels but I like the green. I think this would make a great daily driver. My car is currently being built but no, I would not trade for this car. The real issue will be the ADM's that come with it pushing the car into the range of the GT350. Pricing at Ford is getting a bit high IMO - some of these GT's in the $50k's is just ridiculous.

lol, no.

Why, are you looking to find a cheap used GT350 after it has been traded in?

As far as American, naturally aspirated V8's, GT350 is king. Add in 8000+ Red line, it's the only one.

NEVER, until the GT500 is released the GT350 is the best Mustang to own. Anything else is a downgrade IMO.

I like the Bullitt a lot, it has a certain cool and nostalgic element going for it. Would I trade? No.

But if I didn't have a GT350 and was looking to buy a new Mustang this year, I'd certainly give the Bullitt a lot of thought. It would be a strong contender vs. the PP2 and GT350 for me.

OTOH, if I didn't have a GT350, I probably would simply wait until the GT500 is released to decide on "which Mustang".

But as things stand, the GT350 is a keeper. I've got a 8 year extended warranty and plan to keep it for at least that long.
