I'm not trying to start something on a forum man, I asked a specific question, for a specific car, and all I wanted to know was some of the experiences and problems some of the users on the forum have found or experience. This is my first mustang, and I'm coming from a g37 the first muscle I had was a camaro but it came with red calipers so I didn't have to change anything, either way thanks for your effort, but i don't appreciate the rudeness you could of just ignore the post.

Hold up... I was the only one that actually gave you what you asked for and I'm a smart ass? The method for painting calipers is not car-specific. Also, you lack basic automotive knowledge.

I tried painting them myself on an earlier car. It started to flake and chip within 2 years. Wasn't going to have that happen on my mustang. Got it professionally done. They sprayed it on, 3 coats plus a clear coat plus Brembo labels. Recommend getting it done professionally. Heres a pic.

In my area I was quoted $100-$150. Got mine done for $140 which includes the brembo label and a clear coat. They used G6 paint. This was sprayed on which is a lot better than brush painting it on.

Did you take the calipers off the car before spraying them?
