2018 Shelby Super Snake Wide Body build to begin

With all the rubber out back, it should have no problem hooking up!

Can't wait see what she does running thru that new 10 speed auto with those big 345s out back! Should be interesting!

I hope you don't mind me sharing these images on your build thread. Whilst these aren't wide body Super Snakes, Shelby American are starting to roll out quite a few "normal body" cars

Not at all. They are working on the first 2018 wide bodies as we speak! As you can imagine they are more labor intensive and take a couple weeks longer. Hopefully by the time my car arrives they will have a few under their belts and it will have sped up a bit! The standard Super Snakes are a thing of beauty IMHO though! That last pic is a race red car similar to mine so will love seeing how it finishes out!

Thanks for the heads up! That car is going to be in Tulsa at the shelby nationals in two weeks. Going to meet the Shelby guys and finally get to see one in the flesh! Hopefully, will not be disappointed Lol! My car as made it to Vegas so no backing out now. I will hopefully have more info to post up shortly!! I have heard rumblings that the HP number is hitting 850!! Will try to nail that down.

looks absolutely amazing. i didn't love the blue interior leather and how far the front tire pokes out from the front, but otherwise it was gorgeous. the wheels are perfect and i'm glad you went with them and not the black ones.

Well good news bad news today. The car was delivered just to the wrong place! But it worked out. They brought the car to the dealership instead of yo SA in Vegas. My salesman was very apologetic and they just put it on a truck and took it to SA. In the end the car will actually get to SA quicker this way so maybe the build time could be a bit shorter!'

My favorite picture so far. In fact I'm having a banner printed of it for the garage as we speak!

Can't wait to see how it comes out! I was fortunate enough to be part of the design process for this car (created the initial renderings for the '18 Super Snake and Shelby 1000 designs alongside the Shelby American team). This is hands-down their most complex and unique late model Mustang with a huge number of custom-designed body components. What's awesome about this car is that all of the exterior components were designed in CAD and were created to OEM-standards. It's beautiful stuff and I guarantee you'll be thrilled with how your car comes out!
