Well, I finally got around to completing this just as explained in this thread. It took quite a bit of time, but it turned out really well and I could not be happier. Thanks again for the inspiration and writeup Boston23! here is a few pics, let me know what you guys think.

Dont suppose anyone has ACC do they?

I'm thinking the best bet I have is to order a lower grille, zip tie it to the lower grille and test whether it works or not prior to completing the swap

To my knowledge, 401a package (which ACC was included with) was not offered on Performance Pack in 2017. Wish it was because the features would have been awesome to have. I would do anything to have seat memory. Let us see yours if you decide to do the grill!

Definitely was offered cause that’s what I have. How we the lower grille is the V6 version which is ugly so I’m investigating what may/may not impact the ACC sensor.

Is your car a Premium and a Performance Pack?

All of the above. The ACC installs the V6 grille. I saw someone swap a GT350 style front bumper and it apparently didn’t affect the sensor but it is mostly mesh vs the “fang” in the lower opening.

You are in Canada right? I just found another 17 brand new that has all three. It’s at a dealer in Canada. I don’t think they allowed this in the US.

Hmm interesting. Yep up here in Canada. Guess I’ll give it a shot if I can track down a lower grille

Ford didn't drop ACC for PP cars in 2017. I ordered my 2016 Premium with ACC. It wasn't part of 401A although 401A may have been a prerequisite. You could still get with PP in 2017.
