I found the engine build date tag on the the driver side valve cover after I remove the engine cover. The engines are builts at the Essex engine plant 30 miles from Flat Rock.
My engine build date is 03 jan 2018. My blend date 04 Jan 2018 and the build finish date as per Ford etis website was 08 Jan 2018. Those are very close to engine build date especially the blend date.
Just for curiosity what is your engine build date compare to blend date and actual build date?
Wondering if all they engine are made just about a day before blend date.
