I forgot about those. They'll probably be handy. I'll pass them along.

Oh and think of an e-bike as more of a light motorcycle or moped. Mine is based on a mountain bike frame and will sustain 25mph for about 20 miles with little to no pedalling. Its got a twist throttle and/or pedal assist, so I only pedal when I want to pretend Im working.

It parks like a bicycle, does all terrain, and you can throw all the paraphernalia at it that you want and it will still get you 10 miles out and 10 miles back without breaking a sweat.

Its no Ducati and im not getting any thinner for riding it instead of a normal bike, but its about as free of an experience as you can have under 30 mph. With a donor bike, kits are sub $1k. Less than a pair of good tires for the Mustang.
Hey, have you heard of the Luna Cycles Sur-Ron? Basically a dirt bike in electric form - it'll give a CRF125F Big Wheel a run for the money as it's got about the same HP, double the torque and almost half the weight! Pretty interesting setup, and not that much more than the gas powered version. https://lunacycle.com/sur-ron/

Wow, it's really tight up under there. I wonder how they can design one that will fit in that small amount of clearance - from Stealth Hitch's site the vehicles they have hitches for seem to have a lot more clearance back there (although I'd imagine some of the sedans might be as tight).

Had a vertical hitch on my 2009 Charger. May have been a draw-tite. Was nice not to see it when i wasn't using it and cost something like $125. Have a visable one on my Mustang and wish it was hidden.

Would be interested if they make one. Only has to be strong enough to carry the family’s bikes!

I've got great news folks! Design of the Stealth Hitch for the S550 was a success. Some adjustments are being made to improve strength and a final design will be available within a couple weeks. I'm trying to convince them to name it the "Capulet 5000". I don't think they'll bite... :p Don't ask me what it'll cost or any tongue weight specs... no idea.

Do you know how hard it was for them to install the hitch?

I don’t know if it even conflicts with the exhaust at all. Zillion variables...

Looks pretty tidy. Do they have a network of qualified installers or is it DIY?

Where and how did they attach to the car? All I can see is the "socket" under the car.

I don't know yet how it works. The owner was telling me on other cars they attach to mounting points of rear crash bars, not the typical locations on "frames" under the car. More or less that is the correct interpretation. I think you'd have to take off the bumper. Really no way around that with this design and we talked about a way to avoid it, and it's just not going to happen. He will be providing step-by-step instructions, presumably with my car in any photos.
