Has anyone changed their own plugs on the v6 yet?

Need to know if you have to replace the intake manifold gasket and whats the stock gap for the plugs, I keep getting mixed answers.

Also if anyone went with a different brand of plug, what was your experience, and whatchya gap them too.

Thanks in advance

No need to replace gasket. If I remember right, its a reusable gasket.

I was thinking that the factory plugs are around 35 thousandths but without a feeler gauge I couldn't tell you for sure. I swapped to a colder NGK 6510 Iridium plug for boost with a gap of 43 thousandths

heres the link: https://www.ngk.com/product.aspx?zpid=9888

Just replaced mine about 5k miles ago with factory replacement plugs. Stock gap is .053 (boosted applications are .035). Had to remove the upper intake to get to the plugs on the passenger side but the entire process took maybe 1.5hrs. Just need the plugs, all seals are reusable.
