2015-2017 Mustang S550 Chassis Lightweight Battery Catch Can Combo Kit.

Our new light weight battery oil catch can combo provides two important modifications in one package. A small lightweight battery to save weight (12-15lbs) and a race style oil catch can to keep the oil vapors and residue out of your engine. Our cnc aluminum bracket mounts in place of the original battery mounting tray with the supplied hardware. Once you have that installed you can mount your new FatFab oil catch can to the plate. Comes with Lightweight AGM Power Sports Battery.

The factory battery compartment cover fits and once everything is installed its very close to stock look.

I'd love to have that battery, and the weight savings that come with it, but how does it handle -5 to 25 degree cold starts?

Would you sell it without the battery? Having it on is going to make shipping an issue for a couple of reasons.

Unfortunately I'm not in a position where I can use this but I genuinely like the setup. Looks killer.

This looks way better than my jerry-rigged setup.

Any plans for a bracket that holds an odyssey extreme PC680?

We just released the kit and havent had a chance to test this winter but will be testing that soon! So far the battery has performed great though.

We have had less than stellar luck with that battery over the years so we dont plan to make that an option right now. This ETX18L AGM performs better all around so far.

Deka ETX18L is a great battery, and even better at the $90ish price tag! Made in the USA to boot.

What are the negatives of using a smaller battery?Cranking power?

Is their an option for the brackets and mounting plate alone or with the battery?
