thats odd, are u sure its not a hardware problem? did u check display mode settings? are u doing the update outside under a tree perhaps thats triggering the display mode? did it start happening only on leaked 3.0 version?

I downloaded it last night, I'll do the update this evening, does anyone know, does this help with the bluetooth issue? my S8 continuously connects/disconnects after the last update

Just tried it...twice. All that happens is the thumb drive slowly pulses the light and nothing else. Lost a half hour of my day.

indexing does take about 10min straight, u have to wait untill updating msg pops up

You'll want to unzip the download, which will extract to a folder. Take what's in THAT folder (one folder, containing five .tar.gz files; two individual files), and move it to the zip drive. Make sure it's the ONLY thing on the drive.

That was probably it...I moved the whole folder, not just the contents.

I just finished the install. took about 15 minutes in total and worked fine.
Once I restarted the car everything seemed to be working well. Moving back and forth from Sync to AA seemed to be a little faster. Thanks to everyone who helped with this.

so is the non-nav in fact out for the new build or no? I clicked a link that seemed like it was for the new build, tried installing and got nowhere.

updated without a hitch! took maybe 10 minutes, hope it fixes the bluetooth issue I was having
