The next mustang is in design studio right now, it will be if nothing else a complete top hat change if it stays on s550.Anyone think Ford is putting off the next gen Mustang because...

We need The Rock to pay a visit with his film crew......who knows what goodies might "leak" outThe next mustang is in design studio right now, it will be if nothing else a complete top hat change if it stays on s550.
I know that by the nature of my work I should know by now the exact definition of "Top Hat".... but the truth is that I don't  .The next mustang is in design studio right now, it will be if nothing else a complete top hat change if it stays on s550.
Everything you see when you look at the car except maybe the tires. An example is the S197 change in 2010.How would you define "TopHat"? so I can get it....
That's a good analogy......although the '10MY refresh also had significant suspension tweaks (I was amazed how smoothly the '10 GT rode compared to my '05 GT )Everything you see when you look at the car except maybe the tires. An example is the S197 change in 2010.

Gotcha... so basically a "big change" but without a change in platform right? Same with Foxbody and SN95 cars? (I mean, since SN95 was still under the Fox Platform). That's a good analogy......although the '10MY refresh also had significant suspension tweaks (I was amazed how smoothly the '10 GT rode compared to my '05 GT )
