I can never figure out Easter Eggs. I just know what I expect from Ford. I am expecting a GT500 that has many heavy components replaced with aluminum such as the IRS. I am expecting 780 horsepower engine in a GT500 that weighs close to 3780 pounds. Logic my friends, Logic.

Weight reduction is a must especially on the front end with the added weight from the blower, intercooler and heat exchanger. If they actually address this the car will be seriously brutal. After GM put the Camaro on a diet you would think Ford would do the same especially on a model like this.

A "Rocket"? Why would it carry a rocket badge?

If you're going to do easter eggs...don't. Do what Dodge did with the Demon instead. Blatantly put it out there to fervor excitement rather than trying to be extra sneaky about it. Just be somewhat sneaky.

Yes, here's a tidbit. Yes, here's a number or fact that's relevant. But it only makes sense if you know why it makes sense.

For what it's truly actually worth, we don't even know if 772 is an easter egg or not.

If the GT500 is going to have a 5.2L supercharged V8, lightweight not going to happen. Between all the cooling, chassis support, added hardware, beefed up parts, and interior features, 4100lbs sounds correct. The entire Camaro lineup has a lot of aluminum in the front end to save weight, not just the ZL1. That's part of why no-option camaros cost more and weigh less than no-option mustangs. (And the Camaro SS comes with better standard equipment than a Mustang GT) If Ford is going to use lighter materials, the msrp will be absurd for a mustang. If they don't do it, the car will be a lot less agile.

772 Horsepower sounds excessive. A Corvette ZR1 can barely tame 750 with 900lbs of rear downforce and 355 wide sport cup 2's. How the heck can an S550 tame 772hp?

Torque management, besides, I'm confident the ford wont have as much torque as the ZR1.
HP may even register with the last easter egg shot below. This 772 dash pic doesn't really have anything else that says, this is an easter egg dash
This one has a lot more ' try to find my numbers' on it.

Oh god no. I'd say probably around 600 or so at peak. However I'm thinking it'll be about torque CURVE. I'm guessing some RPM will be had too, maybe 7500 like the new Yote. That being said, 530 tq at 7000 RPM is 706 horsepower. Take the math for what you will and Ford's claim of 700+ HP.
