GT500 Mufflers with CJ Pony H Pipe - Pics and Video

Like everyone else, I wanted the car to sound to its potential and was considering the Magnaflow Street or Corsa Sport Catbacks until I came across a Mustang with GT500 mufflers.
In the video they sounded pretty similar and costed way less than the Magnaflow or Corsa Street.
Here is what I spent to make the car sound better
Mufflers: $200
H-Pipe: $50 Thanks to @Murphy
Installation: $150
Total: $400

Also thanks to the people who did it before and posted pics and videos on this forum. That was a huge help:clap2:

How does it sound once its all warmed up?

I think your H-pipe is on backwards (not that it should make much of a difference).

A bit quieter but almost the same.

Yes, the H pipe was installed backwards. In fact I think the guy did a very poor job. Never found the time to take it back to him and installed correctly.

Also I think the inlet pipes of the muffler are smaller compared to the pipes from the cat-back :shrug: Maybe

Would like to hear how it sounds when you rev it up. Sounds good!

If you are looking for something cheap then I don't think there is a better sounding setup than this...

Velasquez Mufflers & Brakes ... I work in North Aurora so they have a branch nearby.

I wouldn't recommend anybody to these people. They really don't know what they are doing and have crappy customer service.

I will be replacing the 2.25" inlet muffler piping with factory 2.5" today

How does it sound inside the car? Any drone?

yeah, I want to hear it in motion too.

Sounds really nice bro!! I tried to go this route but couldn't find the mufflers. Went with dynomax race bullets instead. Much louder than your setup but it sounds epic imo.

My phone just doesn't capture the tone as it sounds in real life. Need a gopro or something
