Hey guys, just installed a Airaid MXP series CAI on my GT and was curious what's the best tuner out their to go with Airaid CAI. Any advice would be much appreciated.
I also have a catback Gibson exhaust installed and currently running 91 octane.

Any feedback on why Steeda is not usually mentioned on that short list? To me overall they seem like the safest choice if not going with pp. Are they just not getting as much power?

I have a VMP tune with a GT350 CAI (not manifold). It's been fine overall albeit revision response time isn't lightening fast and I guess I used one of my revisions up attempting to address my fans blowing more than they should which was the result of a miscommunication. I guess that's fair but I really need another one as I'm getting rev hang after installing a replacement air filter - annoying. Since I don't have any more revisions with my VMP package, I'm going to try Steeda out. Fitting, to say the least! ;) But, they ROAD COURSE cars a lot and I need that kind of specialist skillset.

I had the Steeda tune with their CAI before I got my supercharger. I had zero problems with their tune. Always smooth, no surging or rough idling. Ever. I probably would've went with them for a supercharger tune if they'd had one, but, I'm super happy with Lund.

I have a VMP 91 octane tune with a PMAS intake. No running issues here. Very strong over 3k rpm. I haven't datalogged yet but am not overly concerned. I run nothing but 93 octane anyway. As far as "best", I think it depends on who you ask. I'd go with someone who knows Mustangs and has a history with them.

Thanks Guys, I think I'm leaning towards the Lund Racing nGauge with Performance Tune + windshield mount. Kinda diggin the way it looks mounted on windshield with my PP Gauges. Anyone have bad experience with Lund tune?

Contact livernois. Send them your intake elbow and they can remove the MVT, opening the tube up to it's full diameter.

Then you can use their severe windstorm tune since it's calibrated for your intake with the MVT removed.

Just one option but the 93 tune hauls ass compared to stock tune.

Ditch that aluminum abortion plate on top too lol, you don't need it.

Just run the clear plastic or get a piece of smoked lexan made like I did to mine. Both options look awesome. I think the smoked lexan looks best but it's all personal preference.

Just wondering why you have a VMP 91 octane tune but then run 93? Why not get a 93 octane tune?

I had a Brenspeed setup on my 08 and put like 100K problem free miles on it. Don't see them discussed on the S550. I'm leaning towards Steeda (if not them again) when I get to that point. I ran an 87 tune on the 08 and it was awesome for a commuter. Woke the car up. Drive by wire was drastically better.

I loved my AED tune on my 15. It always put down very, very strong numbers for the mods and pulled like crazy. Drove like stock too. Will probably go with AED again or try out Rob Shoemaker. Leaning towards AED again though.

I have the same intake on my 2016 and have the resonator delete. I just loaded Livernois 93 octane tune and it is a beast. Pulls really good in mid-range and screams between 5000 and 7000 RPM. Even the sound is different...reminds me of a NASCAR stocker. I can't wait to load up their E85 tune.
