Car has ~700 miles on it.

From 24-36 hours after warm up, going from P to R I can feel/hear it. It doesn't sound bad but is it supposed to be that loud and I'm supposed to feel it that much? I can still feel/hear it after a day of work 8 hours but not as much.

I forgot to mention- my garage is on a flat/level surface as well, so I'm not doing this from an incline/decline.

Haven't noticed anything on mine yet but I only have 400 and some change.
See if you notice today.

4800 miles and no clunk. There is a delay from R to D of like 1-2 seconds but no clunk. I would take it in to the dealer and see what they say.

That could be either u-joints, transmission mounts, or backlash in the transmission or rear end gearing. Not sure how u-joints or trans mount bushings could go bad that early, but I guess something could be out of spec.

My Jeep does this to something of an extreme. Its main transmission mount bushing is basically shot so going from P to R or D for that matter results in a pretty loud clunk and the entire vehicle shifts.
