68 on my 2018 GT but that's because the truck delivered it to the wrong dealer and they had to go get it and drive it back to correct dealership

My 2016 had 36 miles on it. It was dealer stock (they had 50-60 Mustangs on the lot). Build date was 20 Nov 15, I bought it 19 Feb 16. I didn't test drive it, test drove an 051a MT, and an AT Eco. The dealer said they drive them "a couple of miles" as part of prep, and I imagine it was test driven by others.

Some of the posts on this board have me very curious. My (relatively little) experience with new cars has been that there have only been 2 - 4 miles on the car when I bought it new. I see that some have had over 30 miles on their brand-new, special order vehicles, and I can't for the life of me figure out why. I could understand that on a vehicle that has been on the lot and test driven for a few weeks or months, but not a new, special order!

If some of you would like to share, please let us know how many miles were on your new car (dealer stock or special order) when you picked it up from the dealer.

Thanks!
23 when I picked it up.

22 Miles straight off the truck (dealer stock) - I suspect it had ~19 or so when it arrived, the dealer I bought it from unloads in a large empty lot about 2 miles down the road then drives them to their lot which is very tight.

The last new vehicle I bought had 6 miles (a Dodge truck) - I looked at another that had a dealer tag on the model I was after and it and had roughly 200 miles on the clock. I asked, the sales person told me they can legally sell them as brand new with that many miles and that only their managers get to take them (as if that made any difference). I simply closed the door and told him to show me one someone hasn't driven around or to just be honest and tell me if they had none... he actually acted annoyed at my request so I left and went to another dealership who had lots to choose from that hadn't been run around....
