Can you install the Power Pack 3 on a 2018 Mustang GT? I searched around the forum and couldn't find anything that spoke to it. Thanks.

Both manifolds make about the same power. Not sure what you'd gain from a PP3

No they do not.

The Bullitt uses the GT350 IM not the stock 2018s and the Bullitt makes more HP than a stock 2018 5.0 @ 475. I dont believe there is much else different.

There are quite a few dynos that show on the same engine, they make about the same power.

Quite a few dynos? or quite a few different dynos?

Show me a stock 2018 dyno vs a stock 2018 with a gt350 IM dyno comparison..........

Not a gen2 engine with a GT350 IM vs gen2 with a 2018 IM like the other thread on here.

The DI system on the gen3s is going to make more tq than the gen2 regarless of IM plus gen3 is higher compression too.

Basically the GT350 does outperform the stock 2018 thats why its used on the the Bullitt.

Only reason to use a 2018 IM vs a GT350 or even a CJ is cost.

Gen 2 doesn't have DI, but that does not discount the fact that on a Gen 2, the GT350IM makes the same peak power as the Gen 3 manifold. So while DI adds more torque, it does so to both the Gen 3 & GT350IM (over a Gen 2 car with both manifolds). I don't see how DI and a higher cr will have any influence on making one manifold perform better than the other.

I don't you understand how a back to back comparison works.:headbonk:

We don't know what intake tube/filter the Bullet will have, but there's proof of the GT350 intake tube making more power than a stock Gen 2 intake tube. That could easily be the 15hp difference.

Ohhh peak  could you look at it and tell me where the GT350 out runs the 2018.....

HINT its at the end......

Both were tested on same tune.....

Thats retarded thats like running a tune for an F150 intake on a GT350..... LOL

Gee dont you think the numbers can be greatly effected by tuning!

People said the GT350 IM was garbage down low. Over time tuners have learned how to pretty much eliminate any loss down low from the GT350 IM.

Only reason to use a 2018 over a GT350 is cost period!

Psst edit again if you look at the damn Edelbrock Tech graph gap the GT350 makes over the 2018 IM is GIGANTIC at 7300 rpm....

"F150 blows them all away until about 5000 rpm. The GT350 was best up top from 6200 rpm and up. The Stock 2015 manifold is a good all around manifold up to about 6500 rpm. The Stock 2018 is the Goldilocks manifold. Not quite as good on torque as the Stock 2015 manifold and not quite as good as the GT350 manifold on the top end, but sits right in the middle of the two."

I originally said "both manifolds make about the same power"

You said "Derp. No they don't, the Bullet makes 475hp!"

Then you posted the link to the thread where they dynoed both GT350 & 2018 GT on the same motor. Guess which one made more power? The GT350 by 3.74whp :lol::lol::lol:

I also said in that thread, that it would be nice to see a properly tuned 2018 manifold overlayed with the PP3, so it would be a good apples : apples comparison, rather than a standard tune that may favor one manifold over the other. The PP2 picked up about 15whp over stock from just the cold air intake. We don't know what's on the bullet, so the 15hp difference could easily be from the intake, not from the GT350IM. thumbsup:

Look at the Edlebrock Tech Graph on page 4 which makes more peak hp? LOL

Tq under 5k the F150 destroys the others too.

2018 IM tries to be jack of all trades but is best at NONE

I saw that. I also don't trust doctored graphs that don't show the correction factor, torque, and especially the fact that they disabled IMRCs. Sounds like an asinine test. I'd trust the 3rd party raw dyno sheet over that nonsense.
