Hi guys

If opting for 20s will it look silly without lowering?
I have 18 incoming with magneride, not sure if lowering will have a negative impact on longevity of the system. I know that for GT350 there are lowering springs but not sure how those springs will work with regular GT even if they fit.

I am assuming 19s will not be as bad from a height perspective?

Thanks

I would agree with that statement. Mine is lowered on 20's and without it would look like a 4x4. If not lowered it would be 1/2" taller overall.
The nice thing about 20's is that it fills out the wheel well a little better and more proportionally fitting for my eyes.

Hard core track runners swear by 18's and 19's for weight reasons but I'm not that hard core. Good luck with your purchase and enjoy the ride:thumbsup:

Really would depend on the tires run on the 20's..There was a factory 20 offered for a few years..I thought they looked fine as far as the gap goes..

So the conclusion is that lowering will be required :D. I will be going for 10" for the fronts and 11" on the back. 275 and 305 tires.

Potentially I will go for 19" as the car will be my dd
2morrow really like those M600s

If you do 19” a 285/35 will be closer to the stock diameter. If you do something like the P51, which is a similar design to the M600 Todd has in his picture there, the 20” is only 23lbs

Thank you for the input.

Was thinking if I go for 19 I could maybe use the stock rear 275s on the fronts. Have not done any calculations yet though but the 275/40 maybe are to far off?

275/40/19 is 27.7" vs 275/35/20 27.6". It would work fine, to me just looks like too much tire. That's one of the things I've been considering for my future upgrade.

You dont have to lower, but it does look damn good when lowered on 20" wheels.

Stock springs... Not even PP springs.

Yes, with a different set of springs it would have an aggressive look but I hardly think you could consider this looking 'lifted'.
